The District has a 7 ft. and 10 ft. No-Till Tye drill available for rent.
Drill Program Details
Both drills have the necessary attachments to plant either warm season grasses or cool season grasses/legumes. The drills have 5/8" warm ripple coulters, double disc openers and single press wheels on 8" spacing.
District Drill Policy and Rental Rates
The rental rate for both drills is $5.00 per acre for conservation plantings and $6.00 per acres for cropland use. A minimum charge of $25.00 is assessed per customer. A $50 deposit is required at pick-up or the customer may pre-pay in advance. All customers must sign a rental agreement before using the drill.
